The beloved Raahgiri Day is finally back on the streets of Connaught Place. As the saying goes, a Sunday well spent equals a week’s worth of content. Raaghiri used to be the beacon of a perfect Sunday for many. Since COVID the Raahgiri celebrations were set to a halt. But now the tables have turned.
Raahgiri Day has restarted once again after 3 years of waiting. Last Sunday, the 19th the Raahgiri events were organized with a flurry of activities. Visitors witnessed fun games on the closed streets with no car zone for the first time in a very long time. From competitive drawing competitions to Zumba dances and the entry of music bands, a mix of colours was a site of the day.
Started almost a decade ago, Raahgiri Day has turned up to be the most awaited event across 70+ cities. The cheerful morning hangout spot continues to spread its charm.
